  I LOVE going to the Augusta Market downtown each Saturday. Highly recommend getting there early and walking the market with a cup of coffee from the local Cafe Buona to see which vendors are attending that week. You can always find fresh fruit and veggies from nearby farms, local honey, tasty breads and pastries, handmade jewelry and soaps, and an assortment of food vendors. My personal favorites are the Sweet or Savory Crepes stand and the arepas from the Colombian stand near the entrance to the market. Most weeks you can also find plants/flowers for your garden and farm fresh eggs, as well. My only complaints would be about the guy that shout about how it's "hot dog time!", even when it's 8:30 in the morning, and there is occasionally a tent for someone selling windows. I would love to see more local farms and food vendors, as well as more hand-made or locally-made items.
