  I have had a terrible experience with this company so far. I called them out on a Monday to check out my HVAC as my home's fan stopped running.
  
  The Tech arrived on time but did not seem happy to be there. After a quick 5 minute look at the system he informed me that I had a bad disconnect switch and that he could bypass the switch and instead connect it to the extra disconnect switch outside the unit. My first questions were "Does this cause a safety concern?" and "Will this damage the HVAC system?" He replied no to both of these.
  
  At 0200am the next morning I wake up with a headache to an electrical burning smell. I turned off the heat until I left for the morning. When I returned home, the fan had once again stopped working and the burning smell had come back.
  
  I called Spartan and explained the situation. The call center lady told me that she can send someone out, but that they will be charging me another service fee to do so. After minutes of discussing that I would not be paying another service fee for them to come out and fix the repair they made, I asked to speak with a manager. She informed me that he was in a meeting but could give me a call back in about 15-20 minutes.
  
  A FULL HOUR later, I called back to see why I never received a call. She told me that David was still in the meeting and that she just made up the amount of time he would take to call me the first time. I explained that I wanted him to call me ASAP. He finally gave me a call back 1.5 hours after her original "made up" time was and explained that I would not be charged an extra service fee and ensured they would have someone out there.
  
  The time I was told my follow up appointment would be was 3pm. It is currently 5:50 as I write this and I am STILL waiting on their tech to show up to redo the work that was supposed to have been completed on Monday. I will edit/follow up to this post once their tech shows up and explains what the problem with my unit is.
